Gethin visits Number 10
02/11/2011
Gethin launched The Royal British Legion's 2011 Poppy Appeal as the charity announced a £40 million fundraising goal in its most ambitious campaign ever, under the slogan of standing "shoulder to shoulder with all who serve."
On the Poppy Appeal site, Gethin said: "I'm honoured to be launching the Poppy Appeal. I've experienced first-hand what life is like for our brave Service men and women on operations and how much the British public's support means to them.”
As part of the launch Gethin visited 10 Downing Street, where he visited Prime Minister David Cameron to award him with his own Poppy.

You can upload your own picture on the ‘shoulder to shoulder’ website , insert a poppy and show your support and encouragement for the British Armed Forces.
