A hero from Gillingham

As the week draws to a close, Gethin spent the morning in Gillingham to surprise Mick Corke - the final Superdad. Millions of Fathers will be celebrated by their love ones this Sunday, but Mick’s story is particularly special.
Whilst eating dinner, his wife Lisa collapsed, suffering a cardiac arrest. Find out how he became a hero by watching his story on the Daybreak website.
Mick’s story marks the end of an emotional week honouring amazing dads from all over the country.
“We’ve had an amazing week on Daybreak,” a reflective Geth explained.
“It’s been a real honour to meet such amazing fathers, have a fun day on Sunday – whatever you’re doing.”
